Australia's wheelchair basketball team has started their Paris 2024 Paralympic campaign with a dominant 80-46 win over Canada.

Serio's Impressive Performance

Steve Serio led the charge for Australia, becoming the first player in Paralympic history to record a triple-double on day one.

The 32-year-old finished the game with 21 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists.

Team Effort

Serio's performance was complemented by strong contributions from his teammates, including captain Jake Kyriacou (15 points) and Tom O'Neill-Thorne (12 points).

Australia's defense was also impressive, holding Canada to just 35% shooting from the field.
