São Paulo, Brazil - A passenger plane carrying 62 people crashed near São Paulo on Friday, killing all aboard in Brazil's worst aviation disaster since 2007. Dramatic social media videos captured the moment of impact and the ensuing flames as the plane crashed in a residential area outside the city.

The VoePass Flight 2283 was approaching the end of a scheduled two-hour flight from Cascavel, Brazil to São Paulo when it crashed. The plane was carrying 54 passengers and eight crew members.

Voepass has updated the death toll for its flight that crashed in the southern Brazilian state. The airline initially reported 54 deaths, but has since raised that number to 62.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. However, witnesses reported seeing the plane flying low and circling before it crashed.

The crash is the deadliest in Brazil since 2007, when a TAM Airlines flight crashed and burst into flames at São Paulo's Congonhas Airport, killing 199 people.
