Tom Aspinall suffered a freak knee injury just 15 seconds into his UFC heavyweight bout against Curtis Blaydes in July 2022. Now, the interim heavyweight champion is looking to exact his revenge in a rematch at UFC 304.
In the co-main event of UFC 304, Aspinall will face Blaydes in a rematch for the heavyweight title. The fight will take place in Manchester, England, on July 27, 2024.
Aspinall is currently 14-3 in his MMA career and 7-1 in the UFC. He is coming off a first-round submission victory over Alexander Volkov in March 2023.
Blaydes is 15-3 in his MMA career and 10-3 in the UFC. He is coming off a first-round knockout victory over Chris Daukaus in November 2022.
The Aspinall vs. Blaydes rematch is expected to be a close and competitive fight. Both fighters are well-rounded and have a lot of experience at the highest level of the sport.
