Boston dominates in Game 7 to advance, will face Heat for berth in NBA Finals

The Boston Celtics punched their ticket to the Eastern Conference Finals on Sunday night with a resounding 123-111 victory over the Dallas Mavericks in Game 7 of their second-round playoff series.

The Celtics, who entered the game as -450 favorites, led by as many as 24 points in the first half and never looked back, cruising to the win and covering the -9.5 spread. The total for the game was set at 236.5, and the teams combined to finish well under that number.

Jayson Tatum led the way for Boston with 26 points, followed by Jaylen Brown with 24 points and Marcus Smart with 20 points. Luka Dončić paced the Mavericks with 33 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Celtics' balanced attack.

The Celtics will now face the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals, which is scheduled to begin on Tuesday night in Miami.
